On the morning of Wednesday (April 22, 2026), the Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Mohammed Al-Tamimi, inaugurated the annual cultural festival under the slogan (Creativity Without Borders) held in the college gardens. The festival was organized by the Dean's Office / Library Division in cooperation with the Media and Government Communication Division and the Nakhwat Al Iraq Team for Development and Training, as well as with the participation of the Al-Ain Charity Foundation.
The festival included a book fair, an art exhibition, and a charity bazaar. The Dean of the college praised the efforts of the organizers and participants in the festival's activities, affirming that the college supports all those with ideas and small projects in order to enhance the capabilities and potential of Basra's youth, whether they are students or graduates.
The festival also included artistic works by students and participants, local handicrafts inspired by Iraqi heritage, as well as a charity bazaar for young men and women with small projects in Basra, a book fair, and a special corner dedicated to the creative works of talented university students in various visual arts.
