The University Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized scientific debates for students in the morning program, held this morning, Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in cooperation with the Library and Government Communication Departments at the college. The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sami Obeid Mohammed Al-Tamimi, along with faculty, staff, and students.
The Dean delivered a speech on this occasion, emphasizing the importance of such activities, which enhance students' awareness and cultural understanding in various fields, as they are a fundamental pillar for broadening the intellectual horizons of young people at the university level. The competition took place between the four departments: (Oil and Gas Economics), (Oil Project Management), (Oil Accounting), and (Oil and Gas Management and Marketing). Students from the (Oil and Gas Management and Marketing) department won first place in these scientific debates, defeating students from the (Oil Project Management) department in the final round. These debates covered several topics, including: specialized scientific topics, cultural topics, historical topics, religious topics, and general knowledge topics.
