Headed by the Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Muhammad Al-Tamimi, a delegation from the college visited Al-Kunuz Private University in Basra on Wednesday evening, April 8, 2026. The delegation was received by the University President, Professor Dr. Yousef Al-Asadi, who welcomed the Dean, the Head of the Department of Oil Project Management, Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Abdullah, and the members of the scientific committee tasked with overseeing the exams for students in the Department of Oil Project Management at Al-Kunuz University.
This visit aimed to directly supervise the examination process at the university, in accordance with the terms of the twinning agreement between the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas and Al-Kunuz Private University. Scientific supervision and follow-up are part of this agreement, which was approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The committee oversaw the examination for the course "Management Information Systems in Oil and Gas Projects" in the "Department of Oil Project Management." They also participated in invigilating the examination halls, in the presence of the Dean and the President of Al-Kunuz University.
