Assistant Lecturer Israa Falih Ghali, a faculty member in the Department of Oil Project Management at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, participated in the Fourth International Scientific Conference, held by the College of Education for Humanities, entitled: “Historical Research in the Digital Age,” on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
The conference aimed to highlight the transformations taking place in historical research in light of digital development and to demonstrate the impact of modern technologies on developing scientific research tools and expanding the horizons of historical studies. More than 100 researchers from inside and outside Iraq participated, presenting various scientific topics that addressed issues of historical research and mechanisms for employing digital technologies in studying historical sources.
The faculty member participated in one of the conference committees and received
a certificate of attendance and participation.
