College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas Explores Scientific Cooperation with Jawharat Al-Hussam Oil Company

A delegation representing the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas visited the headquarters of Jawharat Al-Hussam Oil Company in Al-Burjasiya to discuss mutual scientific cooperation. The delegation included Dr. Mohammed Dawood Attia, Head of the Qualification, Employment, and Graduate Follow-up Unit, and Dr. Hassan Khayoun Abbas. At the beginning of the meeting, the delegation presented a letter of thanks and appreciation to the company for its active contribution to supporting and ensuring the success of the College of Industrial Management's First International Scientific Conference for Oil and Gas. Following this, the two sides discussed avenues for joint cooperation through training and employing a number of the college's students and graduates, providing them with training certificates to facilitate their entry into the oil and gas industry. A preliminary agreement was reached to train 20 students in the first phase, awarding them training certificates and the possibility of employing outstanding participants. The two sides also discussed strengthening scientific cooperation in various scientific fields, including holding joint workshops and training courses.

This visit comes within the framework of strengthening cooperation between the college and the private sector, which contributes to providing practical training opportunities for students and their acquisition of field experience within the work environment, as well as obtaining training certificates that contribute to supporting their career path after graduation
