At the invitation of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Dr. Adnan Hadi Jaaz, Head of the Oil and Gas Economics Department at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, participated in the International Forum for Innovative Projects, held at the headquarters of the Iraqi Federation of Industries in Baghdad. His participation included a presentation on the economic and environmental importance of the Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) unit project at the Southern Refineries in Basra Governorate, which was financed by JICA with a soft loan of $4.8 billion. It should be noted that JICA has financed various development projects with a total funding of $11 billion.
