Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul-Razzaq Amer Adnan, a faculty member at the Department of Oil and Gas Management and Marketing, College of Industrial Management of Oil and Gas, participated in the examination committee for Master’s student Firaq Mohsen Jabbar at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Basra, on Sunday morning, January 18, 2026.
The thesis, titled "Job Commitment as a Moderating Variable in the Relationship Between Mindful Leadership and Proactive Work Behaviors: An Exploratory Study of a Sample of Employees at the Dhi Qar Education Directorate," focused on reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating the directorate's staff based on the principle of job commitment.
Objectives and Findings
The research presented by student Firaq Mohsen Jabbar aimed to:
* Test the impact of Mindful Leadership on Proactive Work Behaviors.
* Examine the moderating role of Job Commitment within this relationship.
The study involved testing the correlations between the primary variables and their multiple dimensions within the Dhi Qar Education Directorate.
