The "University Psychological Counseling Unit" organized a visit for students of the Basra University for Oil and Gas. The Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obeid Mohammed Al-Tamimi, and his accompanying delegation, visited the students in the internal departments at their residence on Sunday morning (January 4, 2026).
During the visit, the Dean reviewed the services provided to the students and spoke with them regarding their comfort, specifically the quiet environment necessary for studying. He also checked their preparations for the cold weather, noting that Basra University for Oil and Gas has provided (oil-filled) electric heaters designated for the winter season. Furthermore, the Dean listened to the students' requests and immediately instructed that they be met as quickly as possible.
