A delegation representing the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at the Basra University for Oil and Gas visited the Christian community in Basra Governorate this Sunday morning (December 28, 2025). The visit aimed to extend congratulations and blessings on the occasion of Christmas and the New Year.
The delegation was received by His Excellency Archbishop Mar Habib Hormuz Al-Naufali, Archbishop of Basra and the South, at St. Ephrem Church. His Excellency praised the spirit of tolerance and peace, emphasizing the importance of communication between the various sects and groups of Iraqi society.
During the visit, the college delegation presented a bouquet of flowers and a greeting card to their Christian brothers, expressing the cohesion and spirit of coexistence shared by all segments of the Iraqi people.
