The Sub-Committee for Volunteer Work at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas honored a number of staff and students in appreciation of their efforts in participating in volunteer work, coinciding with International Volunteer Day.
The honoring ceremony was held this morning, Sunday, December 7, 2025. The recognition came during a tree-planting initiative for the college gardens.
Those honored included:
* Mr. Muhammad Imad (Head of the Horticulture Unit) and Mr. Hassan Sabeeh, for their efforts in sustainability, promoting a green environment, and leading volunteer tree-planting campaigns to provide a suitable climate for students.
* Muhammad Haider (Evening Study student in the Department of Oil and Gas Economics), for his efforts in student volunteer activities that serve the community.
The awards were presented by the Scientific Associate Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Naseef Jasim Ali, and the Administrative Associate Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Ali Al-Asadi. The recognition serves to appreciate their role and efforts in contributing to volunteer work, marking the celebration of International Volunteer Day.
