The College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas — through the University Psychological Guidance Unit and under the direct supervision of the Dean, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Mohammed Al-Tamimi — organized a scientific workshop titled:
(Educational Leadership in the University Classroom: From Content Management to Inspiring Minds and Creating Change).

The workshop was delivered by Professor Dr. Naim Mankhi Ouda, Head of the Accounting Department at the Technical Institute of Amarah, who traveled from Maysan Governorate to present a lecture addressing the university instructor’s mission as both a leader and a manager within the classroom.

His presentation was structured around eight core themes that formed the foundation of his lecture:

  1. The concept of educational leadership.
  2. Dimensions of educational leadership in higher education.
  3. From content management to inspiring minds.
  4. Characteristics of an inspiring educational leader.
  5. Leadership practices within the university classroom.
  6. Tools of the academic leader.
  7. Challenges to university leadership.
  8. How to transform the classroom into a thought-stimulating environment.
