The Department of Petroleum Project Management at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized a training course titled:
(Civil Defense and Firefighting)
on the morning of Wednesday, October 29, 2025, in the Small Conference Hall.
The session was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Dawood Atiyah, Assistant Lecturer Hassan Khayoun Abbas, and Lecturer Karrar Jassim Mohammed.
The presenters focused on basic safety procedures in the event of natural or non-natural disasters, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the safety of individuals present at the incident site. They also discussed the necessary measures to contain and minimize the impact of the incident, ultimately aiming for complete control of the situation.
