The Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Mohammed Al-Tamimi, participated in the Second Scientific Conference organized by the University of Duhok / College of Administration and Economics under the slogan:
(Toward a Promising Sustainable Financial Environment through Empowering and Adopting Modern Electronic Payment Technologies and Enhancing Financial Inclusion).
The conference was held on the morning of Wednesday, October 22, 2025, and the Dean’s participation included presenting his research paper titled:
(Measuring the Impact of Electronic Payment Systems on Enhancing Financial Inclusion in Iraq for the Period 2009–2023).
The conference also featured a large exhibition with the participation of numerous banking and non-banking financial institutions. In addition, it included an extensive panel discussion that addressed financial inclusion and its impact on monetary and fiscal policy, as well as the role of the government in improving financial inclusion indicators and promoting economic stability.
