The Student Activities Unit at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, in cooperation with the Basra Health Directorate – represented by the Office of the Director General of Basra Health – organized a health initiative at the college building this morning, Wednesday (October 8, 2025).
The head of the Student Activities Unit at the college, Dr. Ahmed Razzaq Ezghayer, mentioned that the initiative included free examinations (blood pressure, blood sugar measurement, and calculating the ideal body weight based on height and body weight).
This health campaign, implemented by the experienced medical staff, targeted the college's professors, staff, and students, with the majority of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas personnel participating. The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasif Jasim Al-Abbadi, (representing the Dean of the College) presented certificates of appreciation to the doctors and the medical staff.
