On the morning of Thursday, September 18, 2025, the Dean of the College of Oil and Gas Industrial Management, Professor Sami Obaid Muhammad Al-Tamimi, along with the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Ali Al-Asadi, and the Director of the Legal Department, Assistant Lecturer Ali Zaidan, held a meeting with the newly appointed staff (under the 13,000 job contract initiative) assigned to work at the University of Basrah for Oil and Gas / College of Oil and Gas Industrial Management.
The Dean welcomed the new employees and congratulated them on their appointments. He provided directives regarding their placement in administrative and service roles based on their areas of specialization. The meeting also emphasized the significance of working at the university and urged the new staff to learn from the experience of existing employees in order to carry out their duties in the most effective manner.
