This morning, Monday, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, President of the Southern Technical University, along with his accompanying delegation, paid a visit to the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at the University of Basra for Oil and Gas.
He was received by Professor Dr. Raad Saleh Mahdi, Secretary of the University Council; Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Mohammed, Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas; Assistant Professor Abbas Abdulameer Jassim, Dean of the College of Oil and Gas Engineering; and Professor Dr. Hussein Al-Aidani, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs.
During the meeting, the two sides engaged in a cordial discussion aimed at strengthening channels of communication and cooperation between the two universities, as well as addressing several issues that contribute to the advancement of academic institutions.
This visit was considered one of the initiatives that foster closer ties between the two universities. On this occasion, the Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas praised the initiative, emphasizing the importance of maintaining communication with the Southern Technical University through various means in order to dedicate joint efforts to the academic educational process.
