A lecturer from the College of Industrial Management of Oil and Gas publishes a scientific paper on the impact of oil price fluctuations on economic development in Iraq

The Administrative Associate at the College of Industrial Management of Oil and Gas, Dr. Nassif Jasim Ali Al-Abadi, published a scientific paper entitled (The impact of oil price fluctuations on economic development, reading an analytical theoretical reading on the case of Iraq for the period 2003-2018) in the fifteenth volume, issue (59) December 2020 for the magazine  Economic Sciences issued by the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra, which is a quarterly academic journal concerned with economic, administrative, accounting and statistical research. The researcher presented an analysis of fluctuations in oil prices and the reasons that put pressure on the oil market, up or down, including those related to oil demand, the effects related to it, the oil supply and production surplus  , The researcher also touched on the impact of these fluctuations in oil prices on economic development and that Iraq is a rentier country that depends entirely on oil revenues in financing development, so the reflection of oil markets on revenues caused a decline in development indicators, and the researcher reached a set of important conclusions and put in light some recommendations and proposals  .
