College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas Holds its First Annual Evaluation Conference for the Academic ear 2024-2025

 The conference aimed to review the most prominent successes, developments, and challenges faced by the college, highlight the differences between the past and the present, and present a future vision for the college's strategy to measure the extent of developments between previous years and the current year at all academic and administrative levels.

The conference was held under the patronage of the President of Basra University of Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Muhammad Halil Hafiz Al-Kaabi, and under the supervision of the Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Muhammad Al-Tamimi.

The conference was held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, in the Central Conference Hall.

The conference activities were inaugurated with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the employee (Sajjad Maitham), followed by the recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs, and the national anthem.

 A documentary film about the college was then presented, followed by the opening speech of the conference by the Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Al-Tamimi, in which he reviewed the college's achievements, its future vision, and the most prominent developments in the last two years, then the Scientific Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Naseef Jassim Ali Al-Abbadi, gave the first presentation, during which he addressed the scientific achievements, the visit of the teaching staff, and the development in increasing the publication of scientific research, preparing seminars and scientific activities.

 The Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Ali Karim Al-Asadi, also reviewed the comprehensive vision of the college from the financial, service, legal, administrative and infrastructure aspects, and the most prominent statistics related to increasing the number of classrooms and the number of employees, improving the financial policies followed in evening studies, and comparing revenues with expenditures at the level of evening studies.

 After that, the college professors who passed away were honored, namely (Professor Dr. Haitham Abdullah Salman, Dr. Hussein Nasser Sharhan, and Assistant Lecturer Bashar Adnan Wahid). Then, those who received academic promotion during the last two years and those who obtained higher degrees (Master’s and Doctorate) were honored, in addition to honoring the ideal instructor in each scientific department, and the ideal employee for each division and unit in the college.

The Dean, assistants and heads of scientific departments took turns honoring them, amid a positive atmosphere that prevailed at the end of the conference, and everyone expressed their happiness at the successful end of the current academic year. Wishing everyone success and prosperity.
