The Government Contracts Unit, in coordination with the Legal Division at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, organized a workshop on (the mechanisms of conducting public auctions in accordance with the law of sale and lease of state assets) on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in the conference hall, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Mohammed Al-Tamimi. The lecturer was the head of the legal division at the college, Assistant Lecturer Ali Zaidan Qasim, and the head of the government contracts unit at the College of Law, Nada Sakban Hassan. During the workshop, they addressed the basic principles of the law of sale and lease of state assets No. 21 of 2013, the tasks of the estimation, sale and lease committees, the mechanism of announcing the auction and its procedures, the concept of inclusion, how to pay insurance, the most important requirements for submitting an auction, signing the contract with the tenant, and the concept of final referral. The workshop was attended by a number of members of the relevant committees who thanked the lecturers for this important workshop.
