The College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas launches a training program to prepare its staff for digital transformation

The College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at Basra University of Oil and Gas and the Technical Administrative College/Basra, organized a training course entitled: Computer Leadership for affiliates at Basra University of Oil and Gas, this morning, Tuesday, June 3, 2025, under the patronage of the respected President of Basra University of Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Muhammad Halil Hafez Al-Kaabi, and under the supervision and attendance of the respected Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Muhammad Al-Tamimi, and with the participation of a number of university affiliates from various departments and administrative units in the university. The course was attended by Lecturer Dr. Arkan Abdul Zahra Ghaib and Assistant Lecturer Abdullah Abdul Abbas Nahi, with the participation of a number of college affiliates and its formations of administrative and technical staff. The course aimed to raise the efficiency of affiliates in using computers and their applications and dealing with them, and to identify the most important basic programs that must be used in management from different programs and to focus on developing the capabilities of employees in basic computer skills and preparing for digital transformation and dealing with electronic systems, and electronic automation projects in administrative and academic operations through the transition to electronic digitization systems and such matters are included in computer leadership and how to deal with these systems in managing administrative business in the institution and how to use them according to the launch of digital programs to make the structure of university education an integrated digital structure to manage the joints of academic and administrative operations in universities and colleges, as it contributes to the development of a smart university environment that depends
