Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Al-Tamimi, the Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, chaired the Master's thesis committee at College of Administration and Economics at University of Basra on Thursday, May 29, 2025. The thesis was presented by researcher Zainab Talib Abbas, and titled "Evaluating the Reality of Investment in the Oil Sector in Iraq for the Years 2004-2023."
The master's thesis was supervised by Professor Adnan Farhan Al-Jourani, with the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mahdi Abbas, the Head of Department of Economics at Al-Mustansiriya University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ihab Abbas Mohammed.
