In implementation of Cabinet Resolution No. 240 of 2025, which stipulates encouraging citizens to update their voter cards due to the importance of the matter in the success of the electoral process, as it is a national task that falls on the shoulders of all citizens, and based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, in cooperation with the Independent High Electoral Commission in Basra, has begun updating the cards of the college’s professors, employees and students, under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Muhammad Al-Tamimi. A special hall was allocated to update the data of affiliates and students, in the presence of a technical cadre from the Independent High Electoral Commission. The update process went smoothly, under the follow-up and supervision of the Dean of the College and the follow-up team for updating voter cards for the college’s affiliates and students.
