Under the patronage of the President of Basra University for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Mohammed Halil Al-Kaabi, and the supervision of the Dean of College of Oil and Gas Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Abdul Amir Jassim, the Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas attended the sixth annual conference to discuss graduation projects.
The conference held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. It was held under the theme "Creativity and Innovation Projects in the Field of Oil and Gas Engineering: Towards a Sustainable Petroleum Industry: Innovative Solutions and Promising Technologies" for the academic year 2024-2025.
The conference activities began with verses from the Holy Quran recited by student Jassam Nasser Hassan. It was followed by a pause to listen to the national anthem, followed by a remembrance of the pure souls who sacrificed for the homeland by reciting Surat Al-Fatihah.
The conference was held in the presence of the Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Al-Tamimi, who congratulated the Deanship of College of Oil and Gas Engineering for the distinguished conference and the research of their students. He wished the students success and excellence and to conclude the academic year in an ideal manner that indicates that they are the future leaders in the oil sector.
