Twinning and Joint Cooperation Agreement between College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas and College of Management and Economics at Al-Mustafa University

College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at Basra University for Oil and Gas and College of Management and Economics at Al-Mustafa University signed a twinning and joint cooperation agreement to strengthen academic cooperation in various academic fields between public and private universities.

The agreement was signed on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas. The College was represented by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Al-Tamimi, and Al-Mustafa University was represented by the Administrative Assistant, Dr. Hassan Hamoudi Yassin.

The agreement was attended by the Director of Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department at Basra University for Oil and Gas, Dr. Maysaa Nouri Shihab, members of the Council of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, and all faculty members.

The agreement includes several articles to develop joint cooperation in the field of developing plans and vocabulary, unifying curricula for corresponding specializations, and cooperation in the field of summer training, supervising graduation projects for final-year students, and conducting joint theoretical lectures for two courses within the specialization for post-first-year students.

 It was agreed to conduct joint specialized research, hold joint scientific conferences and seminars, and use the resources in the libraries of both colleges to enhance scientific research. At the level of student activities, the agreement included the exchange of scientific visits between students and the holding of joint sports, artistic, cultural, and scientific activities, in addition to holding annual scientific debates between students of the two colleges.

In the field of management and career development, it was agreed to hold workshops and development training courses for employees and teaching staff. At the conclusion of the agreement, commemorative shields were exchanged between both sides.
