The College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized its fifth annual conference to discuss graduation research for its students for the morning and evening studies for the academic year 2024-2025 under the slogan "Scientific research is a step towards investing youth energies in the oil and gas industry" this morning, Sunday, April 20, 2025, under the patronage of the President of Basra University of Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Muhammad Halil Hafiz Al-Kaabi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Muhammad Al-Tamimi, and in the presence of the Scientific Assistant at the University, Professor Dr. Ammar Kazim Al-Baaj. The conference activities were moderated by the employee Ahmed Majeed Shamkhi. The conference was opened with verses from the Holy Quran recited by the affiliate of the Presidency of Basra University of Oil and Gas (Sajjad Maitham), followed by the recitation of the national anthem and Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq and the souls of the university professors. Then a speech was given by the Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, in which he emphasized that the conference included many scientific researches that discuss various issues related to the sector The oil and gas industry and there is distinctive research that can be developed and elevated to be master’s thesis projects in the future, and he explained that this year we are witnessing a clear distinction in the titles of scientific research with different scientific departments and their focus on aspects of the oil and gas industry in Iraq in general and the city of Basra in particular, which made the research form a remarkable presence of the importance of youth ideas and energies in contributing to solving many of the problems that may face the oil and gas industry in our country, and after that the opening session of the conference was held and in it the research of the students was discussed, including Tabarak Fouad
