Administration of the First Annual Basra Oscar Festival for Creativity and Excellence honored Assistant Lecturer Rusul Isam Nouri, a lecturer at College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas and the head of Women's Affairs Unit.
The event was held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, in the hall of Oil Cultural Center, under the slogan "With Creativity, Distinguished People Are Honored." It was attended by the Chairman of the Culture, Media, Tourism, and Antiquities Committee of Basra Provincial Council, Dr. Aqeel Talib Al-Furaiji.
Miss Rusul was honored for her outstanding efforts during 2024 in organizing distinguished and unique activities related to women's affairs, as well as for her academic excellence as an academic woman in Basra.
