The Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at Basra University of Oil and Gas, Professor Sami Obaid Mohammed Al-Tamimi, participated in the proceedings of the First Annual Joint Scientific Conference held at Koya University in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, organized by Ibn Khaldun University College in partnership with the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Koya University, the College of Administration and Economics at Warith Al-Anbiya University, and the Arab Mashreq Bank. The conference was held under the slogan (We are all partners in building a sustainable economy). Al-Tamimi participated with his scientific research entitled (Measuring the Impact of Fiscal and Monetary Policies on Local Investments in Iraq for the Period 2004-2024). The conference aimed to activate partnerships and achieve a positive impact on societies by integrating technology into development strategies. The main themes of the conference were: Economic Sciences, Financial, Banking and Accounting Sciences, Administrative Sciences, and Statistical Sciences.
