College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, in cooperation with the Volunteer Work Committee at Basra University for Oil and Gas, organized a volunteer initiative to serve the community entitled "Eid Clothing for Orphans." Coinciding with the approaching Eid al-Fitr.
The initiative was held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, where Eid clothing was provided to a number of orphaned children in Al-Hussein neighborhood. Dr. Haider Ali Al-Asadi, Chairman of the Volunteer Work Committee at Basra University for Oil and Gas and Administrative Assistant of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, emphasized the initiative, with the voluntary participation of a number of professors, employees, and students of the college, aims to contribute to serving the community, especially orphaned children, as they are the ones who deserve to have happiness and joy drawn on their faces as Eid al-Fitr approaches.
