The Continuing Education Division at Basra University of Oil and Gas, in cooperation with the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, organized a workshop entitled "Developing E-Skills" this morning, Wednesday, March 12, 2025, in the conference hall of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, under the supervision of the President of Basra University of Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Muhammad Halil Hafiz Al-Kaabi, and under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Muhammad Al-Tamimi. The workshop was attended by Lecturer Rafid Khader Radhi. The workshop addressed the latest methods and technologies in the field of electronic management, with a focus on how to improve administrative efficiency using digital tools and the importance of relying on electronic programs in all administrative facilities, especially in universities, and activating the (barcode) feature in correspondence and completing tasks as an alternative to paper communications, as part of the government's directives to automate all official transactions in government departments. The workshop aimed to enable participants to acquire new skills that would contribute to enhancing institutional performance. The workshop targeted employees in the administrative sector and those interested in developing their skills in this field. In conclusion, the Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Sami Obaid Al-Tamimi, praised the importance of such workshops and seminars and their use in the field of education. He also highlighted the need to support those in charge of them in order to develop the educational process according to modern principles and programs in e-management.
