A number of female members of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized a volunteer initiative to serve the community by visiting the Vocational Rehabilitation Institute for People with Special Needs, affiliated with the Authority for the Care of People with Disabilities and Special Needs in Basra, this morning, Monday, March 10, 2025. The initiative included providing basic tools for drawing, sewing and embroidery, as well as fabric, handicraft tools and various stationery, to support the institute’s students with special needs, including the physically disabled, the deaf and the mute, who are rehabilitated through training in these activities that develop their abilities and contribute to their integration into society. The visit aimed to provide training requirements to students of the Vocational Rehabilitation Institute for People with Special Needs and to make them feel the continuous moral support to develop their various abilities and skills.
