College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at Basra University for Oil and Gas explored ways to cooperate with Basra Oil Company. The visit was made during a visit by members of the College and the Council: The Dean of the College, the Scientific Assistant, Dr. Nsaif Jassim, the Administrative Assistant, Dr. Haider Ali, the Head of Oil and Gas Management and Marketing Department, Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Rashed; and the Head of the Oil and Gas Economics Department, Dr. Adnan Hadi, to Basra Oil Company on Wednesday, May 5, 2025.
They were received by the Director General of Basra Oil Company, expert engineer Basem Abdul Karim Al-Shamkhani, who welcomed the visiting delegation and expressed the company's readiness for mutual academic cooperation with College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean of the College reviewed the College's strategy and its important role in graduating national competencies that serve oil sector in the specializations of oil project management, oil and gas management and marketing, and oil and gas economics.
Al-Tamimi also spoke about the first international scientific conference that the College will hold at the end of the current year. The Director General of Basra Oil Company welcomed that visit, emphasizing the importance of scientific specializations in College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas and the possibility of cooperation in the fields of training, support and scientific exchange, and crystallizing that cooperation in a joint cooperation agreement between the two sides in the coming days.
At the end of the visit, the Deanship of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas presented the college shield to the expert engineer Basem Abdul Karim Naser Al-Shamkhani in appreciation of his continuous role in supporting the educational process.
