A Researcher from College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas has Made a Qualitative Leap in Artificial Intelligence for the Medical Sector by Publishing his Research in Global Publications.

Dr. Mustafa Abbas Abboud, a lecturer at College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, has achieved a distinguished scientific achievement by publishing his research titled "A hybrid of an automated multi-filter with a spatial bound particle swarm optimization for gene selection and cancer classification" in the Helion journal, published by the international publishing house Elsevier.

The journal is a first-class (Q1) category. The research represents an innovative step in the field of artificial intelligence, introducing new techniques aimed at early detection and diagnosis of cancer through the analysis of genetic data. The work demonstrates the importance of integrating modern technologies into medicine, which contributes to improving the accuracy of diagnoses and enhancing the chances of early treatment for patients.

Dr. Abboud expressed his happiness at publishing his research in a prestigious international journal, emphasizing that research in that field paves the way for new scientific developments that could make a significant difference in patient care and improve their quality of life.

That achievement was a recognition of the scientific efforts in Iraq and reflects the commitment of Iraqi researchers to innovation and scientific research.
