Department of Oil and Gas Economics organized a humanitarian visit to an orphanage in Basra on Monday, February 24. The visit aimed to bring joy to the orphans' hearts, demonstrate solidarity with them, and teach students the importance of giving back to the community.
The visiting delegation included faculty members and students, who presented the orphans gifts, toys, and sweets. The orphanage administration expressed gratitude for the initiative, describing the visit as "wonderful" and bringing joy to the orphans.
The visit came within the framework of strengthening community cooperation between College of Oil and Gas Industrial Management and community organizations to encourage students to actively participate in community responsibilities.
