Department of Oil and Gas Economics at College of Oil and Gas Industrial Management organized a field visit for its students to the headquarters of Basra Gas Company on the morning of Wednesday, February 19, 2025, to learn about the company's work and its latest developments.
The students were accompanied by the Head of Oil and Gas Economics Department, Dr. Adnan Hadi, and a number of the department's teaching staff. The company provided a detailed overview of its operations and the mechanisms for gas production, processing, and marketing.
Several lecturers gave presentations, demonstrating raw gas processing, explaining the mechanisms for professional project management and task allocation, and reviewing success stories. They also discussed how students can mature academically and chart their path to success in the oil and gas industry. The lecturers listened to the students' questions and inquiries, with the aim of strengthening the partnership between academic science and applied fields in the field of work.
