The College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized the fifth annual cultural festival under the slogan "Shaaban, the month of auspicious births, goodness and blessings" The festival activities were launched on the morning of Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in the corridors of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, under the patronage of the President of Basra University for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Muhammad Halil Hafez Al-Kaabi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Muhammad Al-Tamimi. The festival included a charity market and various entertainment, artistic and heritage activities. The opening segment was cut by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Muhammad Al-Tamimi, and Al-Tamimi toured the corridors and activities of the charity market. Al-Tamimi explained that the college supports all owners of ideas and small projects in order to enhance the capacity and potential of Basra youth, whether they are students or graduates. In turn, the Scientific Assistant at the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Naseef Jassim Ali Al-Abbadi, indicated The festival included entertainment and artistic activities with the participation of a number of young people with talents and crafts, as well as sections from the Iraqi heritage, in addition to a charity market for small business owners from young men and women in Basra, in addition to a special corner for the creativity of university students and also a special wing for donations to orphaned children.
