Under the patronage of the President of University of Basra for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Kaabi, and the supervision of the Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Al-Tamimi, Department of Oil and Gas Economics held an awareness seminar on Monday, February 10, 2025, in the conference hall.
The seminar opened with a recitation of the Holy Quran by student Ali Hamoud, followed by a speech by the Dean Dr. Sami Al-Tamimi. His Eminence Sheikh Abdul-Ridha Maash then addressed the importance of building a future for students through diligence and hard work, tackling the challenges of life, and overcoming its obstacles for a prosperous future filled with knowledge and work. Sheikh Maash also highlighted the importance of adhering to the values and ethics that the family of the Prophet and Revelation has always upheld.
He emphasized the importance of acquiring Islamic knowledge, especially regarding Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance). His Eminence also opened the way for questions and answered many of the attendees' questions related to religious and social issues.
At the conclusion of the symposium, Professor Dr. Sami expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Eminence Sheikh Maash and presented him with a certificate of appreciation and college shield, expressing his gratitude and appreciation for his efforts, wishing him continued success and righteousness.
