Under the patronage of the President of University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Kaabi, and the supervision of the Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami al-Tamimi, Media and Government Communication Division at the College, in cooperation with the Aemalou Student Team, organized a forum on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, to commemorate the births of the Holy Imams in the auspicious month of Sha'ban. The symposium was also held in the presence of His Eminence Sayyid Mazhar al-Naji, Imam and Preacher of Imam Zain al-Abidin Mosque, and Assistant Professor Ahmed Khamat al-Assafi, a lecturer at College of Oil and Gas Engineering. Mr. Al-Naji addressed the biography of Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) and his message, the Message of Rights, and its importance in establishing societal laws. He explained that Imam's message was divided into three main aspects: man's relationship with God Almighty, man's relationship with himself, and his relationship with other creatures
A select group of poets also participated in the event, including: Khaled Al-Mayahy, Abu Sajjad Al-Bazuni, Muhammad Al-Talibawi, Muhammad Al-Hamdani, student Ali Hussein, and Sajjad Al-Khazali.
After the event concluded, the Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Dr. Sami Obeid, honored the participants with a certificate of appreciation in appreciation of their efforts, thanking them for accepting the invitation and participating.
