Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas participates in the workshop held by the Second Police College in cooperation with the Women's Affairs Department at the Basra Governorate Diwan

Today, Sunday 12/29/2024, Assistant Lecturer Rasul Essam, Head of the Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, participated in a workshop entitled "The Concept of Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism and the Role of Women in Combating It", which was organized by the Second Police College in cooperation with the Women's Affairs Department at the Basra Governorate Diwan. The participation of the Head of the Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas comes within the framework of efforts made to enhance the role of women in confronting violent extremism and terrorism, as these workshops seek to educate participants on the importance of involving women in strategies to combat extremism and terrorism, and to enhance their capabilities in this field. This participation reflects the college's commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance the role of women in society, and emphasizes the importance of cooperation between academic and security institutions to achieve common goals in combating violent extremism and terrorism
