The College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized this morning, Wednesday, 12/11/2024, a workshop entitled "Scholarships of the Higher Committee for the Development of Education in Iraq 2025: Application, Conditions and Instructions", in which the head of the Missions and Cultural Relations Department at Basra University for Oil and Gas, Lecturer Dr. Maysaa Nouri Shihab, lectured. She pointed out the most important conditions and instructions that must be followed in order to obtain a study seat in the missions within this project and the universities of Category A countries covered by the project. She also explained the age requirement and the necessity of acquiring English language degrees by passing the ILETS exam as one of the most important conditions for admission to study for a master's degree, which is five degrees and a doctorate, six degrees. She also indicated that the maximum age for admission to a master's degree is (33 years) and a doctorate is (40 years), noting that the application starts on 2/1/2025 and ends on 3/1/2025. The lecturer listened to the questions of the attendees and answered At the end of the workshop, the lecturer was honored for her efforts in clarifying all the requirements and the application mechanism.
