Women's Affairs Unit at College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas Launches its Various Activities within (16-day campaign to combat violence against women)

Women's Affairs Division at the Presidency of Basra University for Oil and Gas, in cooperation with Women's Affairs Unit at College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, launched its awareness-raising activities within (16-day campaign to combat violence against women) on Sunday, 12/8/2024. 
       The campaign included a speech by the head of Women's Affairs Division at the university, Dr. Fatima Hadi, during which she stressed the importance of women being strong at various levels and the necessity of promoting women to be leadership figures in society, while the head of Women's Affairs Unit at the College, Assistant Lecturer Rasul Issam, indicated that women deserve all appreciation and respect, and that was what came in all religions that called for honoring women instead of abusing them. 
        The activities included paintings that talked about the topic of combating violence against women and a paragraph of writing in colors (No violence against women), in addition to distributing brochures to female students, designing awareness posters, and publishing videos on the topic with the participation of a number of female teachers, employees and students.
