The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas held an awareness seminar this morning, Wednesday 13/11/2024, in the conference hall of the college entitled (Immunization from Deviant Ideas) under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Al-Tamimi. The lecturer, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Yaqzan Al-Khuzai, addressed the impact of suspicion and its repercussions on society and the extremism and distancing from true Islamic values and concepts caused by these deviant suspicions, especially among young people. His Eminence the Sheikh explained the most important basic ways to respond to these suspicions and immunize young people from being carried away by them and the dire consequences they cause for the family and society. He explained that adherence to the Holy Quran, the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the biography of his honorable family is the best way to ward off such suspicions, some of which he referred to as extremist groups. At the end of the symposium, the discussion was opened, with the participation of the Scientific and Administrative Assistant Dean, in addition to the Head of the Department of Oil and Gas Economics at the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas. The Dean of the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Al-Tamimi, praised the role of Sheikh Dr. Yaqzan Al-Khuzaei and the importance of such symposia and lectures to educate students and combat extremist ideas. He appreciated his efforts with a certificate of appreciation for the scientific vision he presented to combat extremism.
