The third-year student in the evening studies in the Department of Oil Project Management / College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, the Basri weightlifter (Ali Abdul-Hussein Al-Eidani) won the gold medal in the Iraqi Weightlifting Championship for Advanced Players held in Wasit with a total of 307 kg. The champion Ali Abdul-Hussein Al-Eidani won first place representing the Army Club, outperforming many participants from various Iraqi clubs. This achievement is considered one of the important sporting achievements for the city of Basra. The student Ali Al-Eidani confirmed that he grew up in a sporting environment, as his father is the international champion Abdul-Hussein Al-Eidani, and he confirmed that he will continue to raise the name of Iraq high in upcoming forums.
