A number of evening study students from Department of Oil Project Management at College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized a humanitarian volunteer initiative to visit AL-Noor Institute for the Blind in Basra on Monday 11/4/2024, under the supervision of Engineer Karama Abdul-Jabbar and the head of Student Activities Division at the university, Mr. Muhammad Abdul-Ridha Al-Mansouri.
The students presented gifts and toys to children with disabilities studying at the institute in order to provide moral and psychological support to them and to encourage them to acquire knowledge and develop themselves despite all difficulties.
The institute's administration expressed their satisfaction with that visit and thanked the delegation and the college administration for being the first to present humanitarian volunteer initiatives to serve various segments of Iraqi society.
