The College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas organized a memorial mourning for the martyrdom of the Master of Resistance, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who answered the call of his Lord as a patient and proud martyr in the face of global Zionist arrogance in defense of the land of Lebanon and Palestine and their struggling people. The mourning was attended by professors, employees and students on Monday 30/ 9/2024. The vigil included reciting Surat Al-Fatihah for the soul of the martyr and words about him, as well as denouncing the Zionist arrogance that threatens peace in the Arab region. It was opened by reciting verses from the Holy Quran by the employee Muhammad Baqir, followed by a speech by the scientific assistant at the university, Professor Dr. Ammar K. Al-Baaj, in which he recalled the heroic sacrifices of the heroic martyr. After that, there was a speech by the administrative assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Naseef J. Al-Abbadi, in which he reviewed the heroism and sacrifices of the Master of Resistance, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. Then it was the turn of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sami O. Al-Tamimi, who stressed that the heroes’ habit is martyrdom in the footsteps of the Ahl al-Bayt (may God’s prayers be upon them all), indicating the enormity of the loss and offering condolences to the entire Islamic world on the passing of the Master of Resistance. After that, some employees and students presented poems praising the heroism of the martyr, the master of resistance, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, including a poem by employee Munir Al-Saadi and a poem by employee Sajjad Abdul Hassan. It is worth noting that the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, has directed the organization of memorial stands for the martyred resistance master Hassan Nasrallah (may God Almighty be pleased with him) and the declaration of solidarity with the Lebanese and Palestinian people and the denunciation of the Zionist arrogance and brutality that threatens the region and its free and generous peoples.
