On Tuesday, September 24, College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas launched the (Modern Teaching Skills) course, which is held by the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit and under the direct supervision of the Dean of College, Professor Dr. Sami O. Al-Tamimi. This course lasts for three days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). It aims to improve the learning experience and enhance understanding and knowledge among students. Modern teaching methods, educational tools, and ways to use them were reviewed, with a focus on upgrading these tools with students included in the Bologna track this academic year. Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq A. Adnan and Assistant Lecturer Israa F. Ghali lectured in the course. On the first day of the course, they discussed the most important basic skills that a student should know, such as active participation in lessons, group discussions, the use of technology, and benefiting from the great development in this field, as well as methods of continuous assessment through short tests and scientific and research projects. The course witnessed interventions from the participating lecturers in the course activities.
