College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at Basra University for Oil and Gas participated in the training workshop held under the auspices of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research entitled (Mechanisms for Implementing the Bologna Track System Accreditation) for Iraqi universities, which targeted the new specializations of the Bologna Track, which included (Administration and Economics, Administrative Techniques, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, Agricultural Techniques), which was hosted by Middle Technical University / Administrative Technical College Baghdad on Sunday, September 1, 2024. College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas was represented by the Head of Oil Projects Management Department, Dr. Yasser A. Abbas, and the Head of Student Affairs Division, Mr. Abbas A. Aqab. The workshop was held in the presence of the ministerial team, as the workshop aimed to provide a practical explanation of how to implement and apply the Bologna Track and the role of the instructor in evaluating students. It also included a review of the most important points and mechanisms that must be followed to implement the Bologna Track and develop study plans that are compatible with the Bologna Track system and train the teaching staff on the concepts and methods related to the Bologna Track system on the study materials and determine the study units and academic requirements for each course. In addition to updating the current curriculum to comply with the requirements of implementing the Bologna Process system in order to achieve its objectives. The workshop showed that implementing and applying the Bologna Process works to develop students skills, enhance their capabilities, and qualify students according to their specialization. According to the specializations and requirements imposed by the labor market, stimulating active learning and increasing opportunities for innovation and scientific research in all scientific departments to ensure the continued success of implementing the Bologna system.
