The American Journal of Economics and Business Management, which is one of the most prestigious international academic journals, published a scientific research by a lecturer at College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq A. Al-Saadoun. The research was entitled (The impact of leadership development on the development of human resources and organizational performance in oil and gas sector in Basra.
The main objective of this study is to test the impact of leadership development on the development of human resources and organizational performance in the oil and gas sector in Basra. This research provided a constructive contribution by collecting data through a scientific methodology in which an organized survey study was used that included (25) questions. The answers to the questionnaire were evaluated using a five-point Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5. For a sample size of (400) individuals, a total of (375) correct answers were analyzed and collected and analyzed using SPSS. Statistical description and reliability or validity testing were used by correlation Pearson, multiple linear regression and ANOVA selection. The results showed a strong positive relationship between enhancing leadership skills - human resources - and organizational functions. The results confirmed the importance of the actions taken by leaders to enhance the growth of companies in oil and gas sector while ensuring compliance with regulations.
