A lecturer from the of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas Publishes a Scientific Research on (The impact of skills development and training on job performance - a Case Study in the Industrial Sector in Iraq / Basra)

(The Dutch journal / Amsterdam) International Journal of Strategic Management and Economic Studies (IJSMES), which is one of the prestigious international academic journals, published a scientific research by a lecturer at College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq A. Al-Saadoun. The research was entitled (The impact of skills development and training on job performance in the industrial sector (Iraq / Basra). The main objective of this study is to test the impact of skills development and training on job performance in the industrial sector in Basra, with a special focus on the links between skills and competencies, employee perception, actionable visions and overall job performance. Information was collected from 300 employees using structured data. Important factors such as skill mastery stages, employee happiness, effectiveness of training received and self-assessment of job performance were also measured. Statistical analysis indicated that employees have a good opinion of their skills and competencies through a significant number that reflects high levels of job performance.
