The Faculty of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at Basra University for Oil and Gas launched its free training and development program for its students and graduates during the summer vacation and the program was launched on Sunday, the 28th of July, in the college's conference hall under the patronage of the president of Basra University for Oil and Gas, Prof. Dr. Muhammad H. Al-Kaabi and under the supervision the dean of the college, Professor Dr. Sami O. Al-Tamimi, and Dr. Ahmed A. Rashid, confirmed that the summer training program was completely free and would include two development courses in the field of (computer skills) and the second (English language learning skills) and would be presented by specialist professors and the initiative is part of the college's support for its students and graduates in preparation for providing them with more skills to engage in the labor market.
