The master thesis entitled “Analysis and Measurement of the Impact of Competition in Iraqi Economy for the Period 2004-2022” was discussed by researcher Alia Majid Dakhel and under the supervision of the Dean of College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at Basra University for Oil and Gas, Professor Dr. Sami Obaid Al-Tamimi. The discussion was held on the morning of Thursday, June 6th, in the Department of Economics at College of Administration and Economics at University of Basra, and Professor Dr. Youssef Al-Asadi participated in the discussion committee as Chairman, and from the University of Karbala, Assistant Professor Dr. Sultan Jassim Sultan and Assistant Professor Dr. Bayda Razzaq Hussein. The thesis aims to analyze and study the effects of competition that arise as a result of public government spending and its aspects. Different with private investments and showing their positive and negative effects on Iraqi economy. Finally, the study found that there is a relationship between public investments and private investments in special cases, including government investments in the field of infrastructure, as the relationship between them is complementary and has positive effects on Iraqi economy, and after the student discussed the content her thesis and its contents earned her a master degree with a very good grade, amid the joy of her family and colleagues.
